Like many people, we have always been concerned about the
chemicals used in our gardens, on our lawns, and around our
homes and the effects those chemicals could have on our
children and pets. Many common pesticides on the market today
are harmful to humans, especially children, as well as pets and
other animals. We knew there had to be alternatives.

We had always heard the old farmers tale about using garlic to
ward of deer (and of course, vampires!) so we gave it shot. We
tested a super-concentrated garlic juice and it cleared out an
entire area of pests and insects. Problem was, we made that
first batch a little too strong – but we were on to something.
After a couple of years of research and testing of different
concentrations and solutions, we developed Garlic Guard, the
all-natural, effective insect and pest repellent that’s not harmful
to humans or pets.

There are alternatives to chemical pesticides. Beyond Garlic
Guard, it is our hope to educate consumers and potential
customers about the benefits of utilizing garlic extract as an
alternative to chemical pesticides. We seek to expose what is
now only a sporadic practice to a much wider audience.
