How it Works

Garlic Guard safely repels pests from fruits, vegetables,
flowers, grasses and legumes by being systematically
absorbed into the plant, protecting it from root to flower
utilizing the natural repelling power of the onion plant family.
But wait, we know what you’re thinking… your tomatoes won’t
taste like garlic if you spray Garlic Guard on them. Garlic is
considered to be systemic and won’t change the taste or smell
of the plant or the fruit, however, garlic does change some of
the clues that insects use to detect their favorite food plants.
Garlic Guard repels the following pests and insects. This list
isn’t an all inclusive as customers continually send us comments

How to Apply
|
Direction For Use
Despite the name, Garlic Guard is not for consumption. It is most
effectively used in outdoor areas that attract mosquitoes, gnats,
deer flies and other pests to protect plants and flowers, humans,
pets, and livestock. The key to using Garlic Guard effectively is to
apply the product in outdoor spaces and on plants before a pest
outbreak. Spray entire plant until foliage and surface are wet.
Repeat application in 4-7 days for 2-3 weeks, until control is
established. For the best results, use every 2-4 weeks once
control has been established. If an infestation occurs, the
product can be applied every three days. Avoid use just prior
to and during pollination, Garlic Guard may repel bees.
Concentrate Mixing Instructions
Mix one part Garlic Guard with 20 parts H2O (water) in a
spraying container. 1 quart of Garlic Guard concentrate makes 5 gallons to be sprayed.
Environmental
This product qualifies for (25b) exemption from registration with
the EPA under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and
Rodenticide Act.
